The Adult Critical Care Specialty Examination program is designed specifically for a respiratory therapist with the RRT credential and experience in the field of adult critical care. Eligible certificants have already demonstrated advanced knowledge in the field of respiratory care; therefore this examination will focus on competencies unique to therapists practicing in an adult critical care setting and not basic competenies of general respiratory care.
